Miriam Cabrita, PhD, is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in the research and development of digital health solutions for chronic condition prevention, monitoring, and treatment. Recently returning to her homeland of Portugal after 11 years in the Netherlands, Miriam has embraced two dynamic new roles. She serves as the Chief Customer Officer at Fibion Oy, where she helps advance physical activity research with greater efficiency. Simultaneously, she contributes as a researcher and EU project manager at Shine 2Europe, working on initiatives that promote active and healthy living by uniting diverse stakeholders. With a background in Biomedical Engineering, Miriam excels at bridging healthcare and social needs with cutting-edge technology. Despite having two new jobs and raising two young children, Miriam thrives in her multifaceted career, always embracing new opportunities for growth.
