Our Story

Fibion was founded by Olli Tikkonen and Arto Pesola, two PhD researchers who encountered the limitations of existing devices in their studies on sedentary behavior and physical activity. Frustrated by the cumbersome tools available and their impact on both researchers and participants, they set out to create better solutions that would streamline the research process and enhance data quality.

Starting from our roots in sedentary behavior and physical activity research, Fibion has expanded to offer tools for sleep and circadian rhythm researchers, as well as those exploring heart rate variability and its applications. Our commitment to advancing research through innovation drives us to continuously improve and broaden our offerings, always with the researcher’s needs in mind.
